START WITH YOUR REALITY

The challenge you see isn't always the challenge you need to solve.

Sometimes the most useful first step isn't finding an answer. It's asking a better question.

Choose a free website reflection. About 2–3 minutes. Your results are always available without sharing contact information. Choose a recent, real situation to reflect on.

No scores. No diagnosis. No accounts. Reflection answers stay in this page. You can revisit each reflection while this page remains open. Reloading or leaving clears your answers; download your PDF to keep them. We use aggregate website analytics; your reflection answers and notes are not included.

FROM CHALLENGE TO PERSPECTIVE TO ACTION

What got you here may well be the thing now holding you back.

The strengths that have underpinned your success can have quite different effects as your responsibilities evolve.

How strengths can become constraints

Being dependable can leave you with too much on your plate. Holding to very high standards can make it difficult to share ownership. Being able to move quickly can in fact leave people waiting for you to tell them what to do.

Coaching creates the space to look at those patterns, to work out what is serving you, what may be constraining you and what you'd like to do differently.

As part of a paid coaching engagement I'll produce a written leadership analysis based on our initial conversation, your professional context and your answers to 15 specific questions.

We'll go through it together, question the assumptions, see what sticks, and work out a useful focus for our work.

The value is far more than just a document. It's the opportunity to look at a familiar problem in a different light and to see options which you may not have previously considered.

Our approach: behavior, dynamics, and systems

LOOK BENEATH THE SURFACE

Understand what's really getting in the way.

A delegation challenge may involve beliefs about responsibility. A team conflict may reveal unclear decision authority. Slow execution may reflect structural constraints.

JTS Coaching connects business experience, behavioral science, organizational psychology, and systems thinking to identify where practical change can begin.

Behavior

What are people doing? What beliefs and assumptions may be influencing those choices?

Dynamics

How do relationships, expectations, and incentives reinforce the current pattern?

Systems

What organizational conditions enable or constrain effective performance?

Understanding is useful when it changes what you do next.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER

Start with what needs to change.

You want greater influence, clearer judgment, or more room to lead.

Leadership & Executive Coaching

From high-potential individual contributors and emerging leaders to C-suite executives: a confidential space to examine challenges, strengthen effectiveness, and navigate professional growth.

What we might explore

Influence without formal authority, delegation, leadership transitions, decision-making, and the assumptions shaping your work. We begin with your situation and agree on a useful focus together.

How our work begins

You don't need a perfectly defined problem. We start with your experience and work from there to get a clearer picture.

COMPLIMENTARY CONVERSATION

Start with your reality

In a free 30-minute chat, we talk about your role, what you're going through, and what you'd like to see changed. You can ask me any questions about my approach, and we can work through whether it makes sense for you.

PAID COACHING ENGAGEMENT

Explore more deeply

If we go ahead and start a paid coaching engagement, then I develop 15 questions for you. They're based on our conversation, your LinkedIn profile, and your company's website and are designed to probe your experience in a professional and organizational context.

You return your responses at least 24 hours prior to our next session so that I have sufficient time to go over them in detail.

See the patterns together

I prepare a written leadership analysis that explores:

  • Key work style and leadership themes: how they help you and where they may hold you back.
  • Observations and underlying patterns.
  • Potential limiting beliefs.
  • Potential coaching targets.
  • Strengths to preserve and build on.
  • Introspective questions for greater clarity.

The analysis offers observations and possibilities for us to review together. Your view is absolutely critical in this process. We're looking at what we think is right, what we think needs challenging and what we think warrants further attention.

Turn insight into practice

That conversation is key to shaping the coaching arc. We agree on what's important, try different approaches in the real world, and then look at what we've learned.

The aim is to link a clearer sense of self and of your context with more considered choices about how you lead.

Let's explore

Execution stalls across priorities, decisions, or handoffs.

Organizational Advisory & Diagnostics

Focused inquiry into the behavioral, structural, and systemic factors influencing performance. An independent perspective and actionable recommendations, with a defined scope.

What an engagement could involve

Clarifying an execution problem, examining decision authority or cross-functional handoffs, and identifying constraints. We agree on the inquiry, evidence needed, and useful recommendations before beginning.

Let's explore

Your team needs shared practice in ownership, accountability, or collaboration.

Leadership Groups & Workshops

Structured, facilitated experiences for people to examine shared challenges, question assumptions, build practical capabilities, and learn from one another.

What we might work on

Accountability conversations, team decision-making, collaboration, and leadership practice. Group format and focus are shaped around the participants and the outcomes that matter.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE PERSPECTIVE

Experience changes how you see the problem.

I'm Jonathan T. Senger (JTS).

I've spent more than 25 years working across technology businesses, from founding three startups to executive leadership in publicly traded companies. My experience spans sales, consulting, operations, customer support, and organizational leadership.

Since earning my professional coaching certification through Lumia in 2018, I've completed more than 7,000 hours of coaching with professionals from individual contributors to C-suite executives.

Leadership rarely exists in isolation. People, behavior, business realities, and organizational systems all shape what happens next.
